2023 Sonata vs 2024 Sonata

Exterior: • The 2024 Sonata has a redesigned front fascia with new daytime running lights that stretch across the entire width of the bumper. • The rear end also gets a makeover with a new bumper cover and taillights. Interior: • The biggest change inside is the new dual 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen setup in the 2024 model. • The 2024 Sonata also gets a new steering wheel design and a gear selector knob mounted on the steering column, replacing the one on the center console in the 2023 model. Powertrain: • Hyundai has dropped the 1.6L turbocharged engine option for the 2024 Sonata. • All-wheel drive is now available on the 2.5L four-cylinder engine in the 2024 Sonata, which wasn't the case previously. Other: • Since the 2024 Sonata is a newer model, it might have some additional standard features or upgrades compared to the 2023 model. However, official information on specific features by trim level is not yet available for the 2024 model. In Summary: If you prioritize a more modern design with a focus on a high-tech interior, the 2024 Sonata is the way to go. The addition of all-wheel drive to the base model might also be a deciding factor for some buyers in snowy regions. However, if you were interested in the peppier 1.6L turbo engine from the 2023 model, you'll need to look for a leftover 2023 instead. It's important to note that the 2024 Sonata just arrived early 2024, so full details and comparisons with the 2023 model might still be emerging from car reviewers.
